The holiday calendar for 2021 in the Spanish Autonomous Region of Castile and León has been proposed.
There will be twelve national and regional public holidays. Each municipality can add two more holidays to the calendar.
As the Assumption of the Virgin (August 15th) falls on a Sunday, it will be moved to the following Monday – August 16th.
In 2021, Constitution Day and the Immaculate Conception, fall on Monday and Wednesday, so many workers will be able to have five days without working, if they take the Tuesday as a bridge. Both Labour day and Christmas day falls on a Saturday.
