Both St. Joseph’s Day and St. John’s Day will be public holidays in 2020 as twelve public holidays are agreed by employers and unions.
As in 2019, Valenciana has chosen St. John’s Day (June 24th) as a public holiday in 2020.
Notably it will not observe a public holiday on Monday December 7th in lieu of Spanish Constitution Day which falls on a Sunday in 2020.
All Saint’s Day is also lost to a weekend, which means that Valenciana workers will only enjoy twelve work-free days, which is two less than the maximum that holiday regulations allow.
The 2020 list was approved unanimously by the Tripartite Council, made up of the UGT-PV and CC OO-PV unions and by the CEV regional employers’ association.
